German Beef Birds - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. round steak
    6 sausage links
    1 qt. tomatoes
    1 large onion
    1 tsp. caraway seed
    1 can sauerkraut
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Cut round steak into serving portions.
    Wrap around sausage links.
    Secure with a toothpick.
    Brown.
    Add 1 quart tomatoes, onion, caraway seed, salt and pepper.
    Add liquid from can of sauerkraut.
    Cook 45 minutes.
    Add sauerkraut and simmer 30 minutes longer.
    Serve hot.
