Strawberry Surprise - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large pkg. strawberry Jell-O
    2 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen sliced strawberries
    1 (10 oz.) angel food cake
    1 pt. heavy cream
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    1 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Dissolve Jell-O in 2 1/2 cups hot water with sugar and salt in large bowl.
    Stir in thawed strawberries and set in refrigerator until slightly set.
    Whip cream, then fold into Jell-O mix.
    Tear angel food cake into pieces and make a layer in a 13 x 9-inch pan, using half of the pieces.
    Pour half of the Jell-O mix on pieces. Make another layer with remaining cake and the remaining Jell-O mix.
    Refrigerate 6 hours or overnight.
