Hearty Red Bean Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. diced cooked beef or ham
    3 qt. beef stock
    1/2 lb. pinto beans
    2 c. (1-inch) cubed carrots
    2 c. (1-inch) cubed onion
    2 c. (1-inch) cubed celery
    2 buttons minced garlic
    2 c. tomato puree
    1/4 tsp. ground cloves
    3 bay leaves
    2 c. (1-inch) cubed potatoes
Preparation
    Cook beans in stock with meat for 1 hour.
    Add remaining ingredients except potato.
    Simmer 30 minutes, add potato, simmer until done.
