Indian Relish - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 gal. green tomatoes, ground
    1/4 c. salt
    6 red or green peppers, sliced
    1 head cabbage, chopped
    4 onions, chopped
    1 stalk celery, chopped
    1 Tbsp. celery seed
    1 qt. vinegar
Preparation
    Combine green tomatoes and salt and let stand overnight. Drain.
    Add remaining ingredients.
    Cook about 1 1/2 hours.
    Jar and seal.
