Coney Or Pasta Topping - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. bulk mild Italian sausage
    1 lb. lean hamburger
    onions, diced (amount for one's taste)
    green pepper to taste, diced (optional)
    1 large jar Prego tomato sauce
    1 large can mushrooms (stems and pieces)
    salt (if desired)
    2 to 3 tsp. sugar
Preparation
    Fry slowly until lightly browned, the first 3 ingredients. Add tomato sauce and mushrooms.
    Add salt, if desired and sugar (this brings out the flavors better, not just for a sweetener). Be sure to drain mushrooms.
    After all this is added to the original 3 or 4 ingredients, boil slowly for 10 to 15 minutes or until of desired consistency.
