Chili Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 peck large ripe tomatoes
    6 green peppers
    1 1/2 pt. vinegar
    2 Tbsp. cinnamon
    1 Tbsp. mustard
    6 large onions
    1 c. brown sugar
    2 1/2 Tbsp. salt
    1 Tbsp. ginger
    1 nutmeg, grated
Preparation
    Peel, core and slice tomatoes.
    Chop onions and peppers.
    Put into large kettle.
    Add other ingredients. Stirring frequently, cook on top of stove until the consistency of ketchup (about 4 hours).
    Pack in jars while hot and seal.
