Mabel'S Caramel Corn - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. oleo
    1/2 c. white Karo syrup
    2 c. brown sugar
    1 tsp. salt
    6 qt. popped corn
    1/2 to 3/4 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Heat oven to 250\u00b0.
    Spread corn in two pans.
    Melt oleo and stir in brown sugar and salt.
    Boil 5 minutes, stirring constantly.
    Add vanilla and soda.
    Pour over corn.
    Bake 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes.
    Let cool and store in plastic bags that seal well.
