Mom-Mom'S Fruit Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. seedless raisins
1 1/2 c. cider
1 1/2 c. sugar
1/4 c. butter
2 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. cloves
1 c. nuts, cut finely
2 c. mixed candied fruits
2 eggs
Preparation

Wash raisins and cook with cider and sugar for 5 minutes.
Add butter and set aside to cool. Sift flour, baking powder, soda, salt and spices together.
Cut up nuts and fruit and add to the flour mixture. Beat eggs fluffy, then add the raisins, then add flour.
Beat to mix well.
Pour into tube pan and bake at 325\u00b0 for 1 1/2 hours.
