Mama'S Sugar Syrup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. sugar
    4 c. water
Preparation
    Caramelize 1/2 cup sugar in large iron skillet, stirring so it won't burn.
    Pour in 4 cups boiling water and rest of sugar; boil for 12 minutes.
    Can be poured into clean hot jars and sealed. May be kept to use as needed.
    While hot, pour over buttered biscuits!
    It's great.
