Banana Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 1/2 c. sifted cake flour
1 2/3 c. sugar
1 1/4 tsp. baking powder
1 1/4 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
2/3 c. butter
2/3 c. buttermilk
1 1/4 c. mashed bananas
3 eggs
2/3 c. chopped pecans
butter frosting
Preparation

Combine flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda and salt. Blend in butter, 1/2 cup buttermilk and mashed bananas.
Beat for 3 minutes.
Add eggs and remaining buttermilk.
Beat for 3 minutes.
Stir in pecans.
Pour batter into greased and floured 13 x 9-inch pan.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 to 50 minutes.
Cool and place cake on serving platter.
Spread the butter frosting on top and sides of the cake.
