Caramel Corn - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 sticks margarine
    1/2 c. dark Karo syrup
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    5 qt. freshly popped popcorn
    1 1/2 c. brown sugar
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
Preparation
    Bring first 4 ingredients to a boil, stirring constantly with a wooden spoon.
    Boil for 5 more minutes.
    Take off heat and quickly add vanilla and baking soda.
    Fold in popped corn, mixing well.
    Bake on cookie sheet for 30 to 40 minutes at 250\u00b0 , stirring every 10 minutes.
    Cool.
