24 Hour Refrigerator Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 qt. water
    1 c. vinegar
    1/3 c. sugar
    1/3 c. salt
    2 to 3 sprigs dill
    2 to 3 cloves garlic
Preparation
    Wash and cut cucumbers (if too large).
    Place in a gallon jar along with dill and garlic.
    Heat remaining ingredients but do not boil.
    Let cool.
