Friendship Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2/3 c. cooking oil
1 1/2 c. sugar
3 eggs
3 c. self-rising flour
1 c. chopped nuts
2 tsp. vanilla
3 c. brandied fruit, well drained*
Preparation

Combine oil and sugar; blend in eggs.
Add 2 cups flour and vanilla.
Dredge fruit (be sure it is well drained) in remaining flour.
Fold fruit and nuts into batter.
Bake in greased and floured tube pan at 325\u00b0 for 1 hour and 15 minutes, or until done.
