Hot Dill Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 qt. white vinegar
    2 qt. water
    1 c. salt
    dill seed
    crushed red pepper
    garlic
Preparation
    Combine vinegar, water and salt; bring to boil.
    Slice cucumbers in strips and place into jars.
    Add 1 teaspoon dill seed per quart and 1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper per quart.
    Add garlic to taste.
    Pour hot liquid into jars and seal.
    Makes 8 or 9 quarts.
