Lion House Chili - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. dry red mex beans
    2 c. tomato juice
    1/2 tsp. cumin
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    1 c. chopped onion
    16 oz. tomato sauce
    3 Tbsp. hot chili powder
    2 tsp. salt
    1 lb. ground beef
Preparation
    Cover beans with cool water; soak overnight and cook until tender.
    Add tomato sauce, tomato juice and seasonings.
    Brown ground beef and onion in heavy skillet until lightly browned; drain of grease.
    Add meat mixture to bean mixture; simmer 1 hour.
