Butter Rum Sauce - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 stick butter
1 cup sugar
1 egg, beaten
rum to taste
Preparation

Cook butter and sugar until clear and bubbly.
Remove from heat and add egg, stirring constantly.
Add rum. Process in blender or food processor to make it very smooth.
Serve warm over bread pudding.
May be stored covered in refrigerator.
