Eggless Rice Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. uncooked rice
    6 c. boiling water
    1 tsp. salt
    1 1/4 c. milk
    3/4 c. evaporated milk
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. raisins
    4 marshmallows (optional)
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 tsp. grated nutmeg
Preparation
    Cook rice in boiling salted water until tender and dry.
    Add milk, sugar, raisins, marshmallows and vanilla.
    Pour into a greased baking dish and sprinkle with nutmeg.
    Bake in 350\u00b0 oven until it starts to set in the center, about 40 minutes.
    Serve either warm or cold with cream.
    Makes 6 to 8 servings.
