Favorite Corn Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. all-purpose flour
    1 c. cornmeal
    1/4 c. sugar
    4 tsp. baking powder
    3/4 tsp. salt
    1 c. milk
    2 eggs
    1/4 c. shortening
Preparation
    In a mixing bowl, combine flour, cornmeal, sugar, baking powder and salt.
    Add the milk and eggs and shortening; beat for 1 minute. Pour into a greased 9-inch square baking dish.
    Bake at 425\u00b0 for 20 to 25 minutes or until bread is golden brown.
