Perfect Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 sticks butter, softened
    1 stick margarine, softened
    6 eggs, separated
    3 c. sugar
    1/4 tsp. soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 pt. sour cream
    3 c. plain flour
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Cream butter, margarine and sugar.
    Add vanilla and salt. Blend in egg yolks, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
    Add sifted dry ingredients, alternating with sour cream.
    Fold in beaten egg whites.
    Bake at 325\u00b0 for 1 hour and 15 minutes.
    Use a 10-inch tube pan.
    Cool in pan 30 minutes before turning out on a rack.
