Grandma Jane'S Bran Muffins - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. sugar
    1 1/4 c. Crisco
    4 eggs
    2 c. Nabisco 100% Bran
    2 c. hot water
    1 qt. buttermilk
    1 tsp. salt
    5 tsp. soda
    3 c. flour
    2 c. oatmeal
    4 c. Kellogg's All-Bran
Preparation
    In a large bowl blend sugar, Crisco and eggs.
    In another bowl put Nabisco 100% Bran and hot water.
    To first mixture add buttermilk, salt, soda, flour, oatmeal and All-Bran.
    Add Bran and water mixture.
    Bake in muffin tins at 375\u00b0 for 15 to 20 minutes. Can make fresh daily as batter will keep, refrigerated, up to 3 weeks.
