Edie'S Punch - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pt. chilled cranberry juice
    1 1/2 c. fresh lemon juice or ReaLemon
    1 c. sugar
    1 pt. raspberry sherbet
    2 bottles (28 oz.) ginger ale, chilled
    lemon slices
    2 ice cube trays (approximately)
Preparation
    Mix juices and sugar, pour over ice cubes; add sherbet by spoonful.
    Add ginger ale; mix gently and garnish with lemon slices.
    Serve at once.
    Makes 3 quarts or 24 servings.
    You may add white wine or vodka.
