Hungarian Goulash - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. shortening
    2 lb. beef stew meat, cut into 1-inch cubes
    1 c. sliced onion
    1/8 tsp. instant minced garlic
    1/4 c. catsup
    2 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
    1 Tbsp. brown sugar
    2 tsp. salt
    2 tsp. paprika
    1/2 tsp. dry mustard
    dash of cayenne red pepper
    1 1/2 c. water
    1/4 c. water
    2 Tbsp. flour
    hot cooked noodles for 6 to 8 servings
Preparation
    Melt shortening in large skillet.
    Cook and stir meat, onion and garlic in shortening until meat is brown and onion is tender. Drain off fat.
    Stir in remaining ingredients.
    Cover tightly; simmer 2 to 2 1/2 hours.
