Baked Steak - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. round steak
    3 Tbsp. fat
    1 onion, sliced
    1 (No. 2) can tomatoes
    2 Tbsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. pepper
Preparation
    Pound flour into steak on both sides.
    Melt fat in skillet; brown well on both sides.
    Place in baking dish.
    Add onion and tomatoes.
    Add enough water to cover meat.
    Cover with tight lid. Bake in a 325\u00b0 oven for 2 1/2 hours.
    Salt and pepper to taste.
