Hawaiian Banana Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. shortening
2 c. sugar
6 very ripe bananas
4 eggs
3 1/4 c. flour
1 c. chopped pecans
2 tsp. baking soda
2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. allspice
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1 Tbsp. vanilla
dash of salt
Preparation

Cream shortening and sugar.
Mash bananas and add to mixture; add eggs, one at a time, mixing between each.
Sift flour and spices 3 times.
Fold dry ingredients into banana mixture.
Pour into 2 greased and floured loaf pans.
Bake at 325\u00b0 for 40 to 50 minutes.
Take out when
center of each loaf is barely moist. Adjust as needed.
The whole house will smell great!
