Cheesy Beans And Brown Rice - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 large onion, chopped
1 medium carrot, chopped
1 stalk, celery
1/3 c. celery
1 Tbsp. dried basil
1/2 tsp. oregano
1 clove garlic
3 Tbsp. olive oil
3/4 c. cooked kidney beans
1 large tomato
1/2 c. shredded cheese
2 Tbsp. butter
1 1/2 c. brown rice
1 1/2 c. water
Preparation
-
Cook rice.
Cook onion, carrot, celery, basil, oregano and garlic in oil until tender.
Add beans and tomato; heat through. Add cheese and butter to rice.
Add vegetable mixture.
Serve immediately.
Serves 5.
