Angel Biscuits (Rolls) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 c. self-rising flour, sifted
    1/3 c. sugar
    1 tsp. soda
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    1 Tbsp. baking powder
    1 c. Crisco
    2 c. buttermilk
    2 pkg. yeast
Preparation
    Mix as you would for biscuit dough, cutting shortening into flour, sugar, soda, salt, and baking powder, adding buttermilk and yeast last.
    Dissolve yeast in 1/4 cup warm water.
    Place in refrigerator for cooling so that dough will be easier to handle. When you prepare the dough, you will find that you will have to add a lot of flour (dough is sticky).
    Cut biscuits and dip or brush with melted butter.
    Fold biscuits over and place in pan.
    Bake in hot oven (400\u00b0 or 425\u00b0).
    Store unused dough in refrigerator.
