Blondies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. butter
    1 c. firmly packed brown sugar
    1 egg
    3/4 c. all-purpose flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    dash of salt
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. chopped pecans
Preparation
    Preheat the oven to 350\u00b0.
    Generously grease an 8-inch square baking pan.
    Melt the butter and add the brown sugar.
    Cook, stirring constantly, for 30 seconds or until well blended.
    Cool, then add the egg.
