Butterscotch Fingers - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. margarine
    1 c. brown sugar
    1 egg
    1 c. sifted all-purpose flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Melt margarine in saucepan and cool.
    Add brown sugar.
    Stir until blended. Add the egg and vanilla.
    Stir well.
    Sift flour and baking powder into butter mixture.
    Stir well.
    The mixture will be stiff.
    Spread evenly in a greased 13 x 9-inch pan.
    Bake at 325\u00b0 for about 20 to 25 minutes.
