Sauerkraut Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 qt. kraut, drained
    2 c. celery, chopped
    1 c. onion, chopped
    1 c. sugar
    1 green pepper, chopped
    1/2 tsp. salt (optional)
    1 tsp. celery seed
    1/2 c. vinegar
Preparation
    Boil sugar and vinegar for 1 minute.
    Cool and pour over rest of ingredients.
