Pastafazool - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. Great Northern soup beans
    1 medium onion
    2 Tbsp. butter
    2 to 4 slices thick ham
    1 large can tomato sauce
    1 large can chicken broth
    1 cup cooked elbow macaroni
Preparation
    Cook soup beans until done.
    Saute one medium onion in butter. Season with 2 to 4 slices of thick chopped ham.
    Add one large can tomato sauce.
    Add one large can of chicken broth; cook 20 minutes. Add one cup of cooked elbow macaroni when ready to serve.
