Caramel Popcorn - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 gal. popped corn
    1 c. peanuts (if desired)
    1 box light brown sugar
    1 c. white Karo syrup
    2 sticks butter
    1/2 tsp. soda
    1 Tbsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Combine in saucepan brown sugar, Karo and butter.
    Bring to boil and cook for 5 minutes.
    Add soda and vanilla.
    Pour over popped corn in large baking dish (or 2 long pans) and bake at 250\u00b0 for 30 to 45 minutes.
    Stir every 10 to 15 minutes.
    Spread on wax paper to cool.
    Store in covered container.
