Lois Campbell'S Butterscotch Brownies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. vegetable oil
    1 c. packed brown sugar
    1 egg
    1 tsp. vanilla
    3/4 c. all-purpose flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    Heat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Grease square 8 x 8 x 2-inch pan.
    Mix oil, brown sugar, egg and vanilla.
    Stir in remaining ingredients. Spread in pan.
    Bake 25 minutes.
    While warm, cut into 2-inch squares.
    Yields 16 squares.
