60 Dollar Creole Gumbo - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 lb. sliced hot sausage*
2 lb. sliced smoked sausage
2 lb. cubed ham
3 lb. shelled and deveined shrimp
2 lb. chicken parts (wings work well)
2 lb. crabs (about 8), cleaned and cut into quarters
1 c. chopped bell pepper
2 c. chopped onion
1/4 c. chopped parsley
4 cloves chopped garlic
1 Tbsp. oregano or Italian seasoning
1 Tbsp. gumbo file
seasoning salt to taste
black pepper to taste
cayenne pepper to taste
Preparation

*If loose hot sausage is used, such as Pete's brand, remove some of the sausage from the skin and allow it to cook apart in the broth.
