Snickerdoodles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. soft shortening (margarine or Crisco)
    2 eggs
    1 1/3 c. sugar
    2 1/2 c. flour
    2 tsp. cream of tartar
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    cinnamon and sugar (for rolling)
Preparation
    Cream sugar and shortening.
    Stir in eggs.
    Combine remaining ingredients in bowl, then stir into shortening mixture.
    Form dough into 1-inch balls.
    Roll in cinnamon/sugar mixture.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 for 8 to 10 minutes.
