Grandmom Burgoyne'S Scalloped Oysters - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 qt. oysters (select)
salt and pepper
6 to 8 sq. butter
5 to 6 dried bread slices
Preparation

Drain oysters well!
Grease 9 x 13-inch baking dish with butter.
Put in oysters, salt and pepper.
Dot with butter. Cover with bread slices broken up.
Put pepper on top.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
