Strawberry Surprise - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 (3 oz.) pkg. strawberry gelatin
    2 c. boiling water
    1 c. cold water
    2 small boxes frozen strawberries
    1/2 pt. sour cream
Preparation
    Combine gelatin with hot water; stir until gelatin is completely dissolved.
    Add cold water and strawberries.
    Chill one-half the mixture for 3 to 4 hours.
    Spread with sour cream. Chill for 1 hour.
    Carefully spoon remaining gelatin over sour cream.
    Chill until firm.
    Cut into squares and serve.
