Fruit Cake Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 lb. candied cherries
    1/2 lb. candied pineapple
    1 pkg. dates
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. salt
    1 c. nuts
    1 c. butter or oleo
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    2 1/2 c. flour
    2 eggs
    1 tsp. soda
Preparation
    Chop fruit and nuts.
    Sift flour, soda and salt together. Cream sugar and butter until light and fluffy.
    Beat in eggs.
    Add flour mixture, fruit and nuts.
    Drop on ungreased cookie sheet and bake 10 minutes at 400\u00b0.
