Grandmother'S German Apple Crisp - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. sliced apples
    1/4 c. water
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 c. sugar
    1/3 c. butter
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Place apples in shallow baking dish. Sprinkle with mixture of water, cinnamon and salt.
    Work together until crumbly sugar, flour and butter.
    Sprinkle on top of apples. Bake uncovered for 40 minutes.
    Serve warm with whipped cream.
