German Potato Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 to 3 lb. Russet potatoes
    1 small onion
    1/4 c. red wine vinegar
    dash of pepper
    1/2 tsp. basil
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    4 slices bacon
    4 Tbsp. oil
    1/4 c. water
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. parsley
Preparation
    Boil potatoes and peel while hot.
    Slice into a bowl, then add cut-up bacon that has been fried until crisp.
    Dice onion and add into potatoes.
    Mix oil, vinegar, water, pepper, salt, basil, parsley and sugar in a small bowl.
    Then add into potatoes.
    Stir thoroughly and serve.
