Onion Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 c. onions, thinly sliced
    5 Tbsp. butter
    1 Tbsp. oil
    1 tsp. flour
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. powdered mustard
    1 tsp. pepper
    6 c. beef broth (56 oz.)
    1 c. cooking sherry
Preparation
    Saute onions in butter and oil 30 to 40 minutes.
    Stir in flour, salt, mustard and pepper.
    Add beef broth and cooking sherry.
    Cook everything (simmer) 30 minutes.
