Grandma'S Applesauce Bars - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. oil
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. warm applesauce
    1 tsp. soda
    2 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    1 c. chopped nuts
    1 tsp. vanilla
    3/4 c. raisins (optional)
Preparation
    Mix oil and water.
    Add soda to applesauce and combine with sugar.
    Add flour, salt, nuts, cinnamon, raisins and vanilla. Blend thoroughly.
    Turn into greased and floured 8 x 12 x 2-inch pan.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
    Cool 10 minutes.
    Cut into bars.
    Serve warm or cold.
    May be reheated.
