Banana Nut Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. butter or oleo
    1 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    2 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 medium bananas, mashed
    1/4 c. water
    3/4 c. pecans, chopped
    1/2 c. dates, chopped
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Blend butter and sugar, then eggs, one at a time.
    Stir dry ingredients together and add half to mixture.
    Beat bananas and add water to mixture.
    Add vanilla and last of flour.
    Add chopped dates and nuts last.
    Bake in loaf pan, 9 x 5 x 3-inch, for 50 to 60 minutes at 350\u00b0.
