Fried Apples - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 apples
    1/2 stick margarine
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 c. water
Preparation
    Wash apples, cut in quarters and remove cores.
    Melt margarine in large frying pan.
    Add apples, sugar and water.
    Cover and steam a few minutes until apples are tender.
    Remove lid and cook over low heat until syrup thickens.
