Swiss Steak - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. lean beef or cube steak
salt and pepper to taste
1 medium onion, sliced and separated
1/3 c. diced celery
1 clove garlic, chopped
1 Tbsp. butter or margarine
16 oz. can tomatoes
Preparation

Roll steak in flour and fry in large skillet until brown on both sides.
Then add remaining ingredients.
Reduce heat, cover and let simmer about one hour until meat is tender.
Stir often.
