Easy Cookie Dessert - cooking recipe

1 1/2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 c. butter
3/4 c. sugar
1 unbeaten egg
1 tsp. vanilla
1 pkg. chocolate pudding and pie mix
whipping cream
Preparation

Sift the first 3 ingredients together; set aside.
Cream the butter and sugar, adding sugar gradually.
Blend in the egg and vanilla.
Add the dry ingredients, mixing well.
Divide batter into 4 parts.
Spread in four 8-inch round layer pans or four 9-inch pie pans, well-greased and lined with waxed paper on the bottom.
Bake at 375\u00b0 for 8 to 10 minutes or until golden brown. Cool 5 minutes.
Remove from pans.
