Strawberry Parfaits - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. canned chocolate syrup
    2 pt. vanilla ice cream
    3/4 c. strawberry preserves
    1 c. heavy cream
    2 Tbsp. confectioners sugar
    maraschino cherries
    1 pt. strawberry ice cream
    3/4 c. prepared marshmallow sauce
Preparation
    In 8 (8-ounce) parfait glasses, or any tall glass, spoon 1 tablespoon chocolate syrup, 1 rounded tablespoonful vanilla ice cream, 1 rounded tablespoonful strawberry preserves, 1/4 cup strawberry ice cream and 1 tablespoon marshmallow sauce.
    Top each one with 1 scoop vanilla ice cream, then drizzle each with 1 tablespoon chocolate syrup.
    Place in freezer.
    Mix whipped cream with confectioners sugar.
    Decorate each parfait with whipped cream and cherries.
    Serve chilled.
