Apple Crisp - cooking recipe
Ingredients

tart apples, peeled and sliced (enough to fill pan 3/4 full)
1 egg, beaten well
1 c. sugar
1 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
3 Tbsp. sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. nutmeg
1/4 c. water
6 bits of butter
Preparation

Butter a 9 x 9-inch baking dish.
Fill pan 3/4 full with apples.
In a small bowl, beat the egg well.
Add 1 cup of sugar, flour and baking powder; mix well.
Spread over apples.
(Add lemon if not tart enough.)
