Red, White And Blue Delight - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 small pkg. jello (red)
    1 pkg. unflavored gelatin
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. half and half
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
    1/2 c. slivered almonds or pecans, chopped
    1 can blueberries
Preparation
    Dissolve 1 package of jello (red) in 2 cups hot water; pour into 9 x 13-inch pan.
    Chill until firm.
    Soften unflavored gelatin in 1/2 cup cold water.
    Place sugar and half and half in saucepan; bring to boiling point.
    Do not boil.
    Remove from heat; add softened gelatin and cream cheese.
    Beat at low speed until smooth.
    Add nuts; let cool.
    Pour over firm red jello layer.
    Chill until firm.
    Dissolve remaining red jello in 1 cup hot water; add blueberries and juice.
    Let cool and pour over cheese layer; chill until firm.
