Meat Balls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. dry onion soup mix
    1 c. water
    2 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce
    1/2 tsp. garlic salt
    1/2 tsp. dried thyme leaves
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    1/2 tsp. dry oregano leaves
    1 tsp. dried parsley
    1 1/2 lb. ground round
Preparation
    Mix onion soup and water in saucepan; simmer 5 minutes.
    Pour 2 tablespoons of the tomato sauce into a cup; add garlic salt, thyme, pepper, oregano and parsley; mix well.
    Add herb mixture to ground beef and mix until blended.
    Add remaining tomato sauce to onion soup mixture.
    Shape meat balls about the size of a small egg and place in a 2-quart casserole.
    Pour soup mixture over meat balls.
    Cover and refrigerate.
