Mincemeat - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 lb. apples (tart), peeled, cored and chopped
1 lb. raisins
3 c. sugar
1/4 c. vinegar
2 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. cloves
1 tsp. allspice
1/2 orange
1/2 lemon, sliced very thin then cut in pieces
Preparation
-
Mix together in a large kettle.
Cook slowly until thick.
Can be canned or frozen.
Makes 4 to 5 pints.
